Origin: Hades was abandoned at birth and later survived two car accidents, leaving several scars on his body. He was eventually found near an elementary school, where a teacher rescued him and cared for him in a shelter for about a year and a half before putting him up for adoption.
背景：黑帝斯自出生便被遺棄，之後歷經兩次車禍，身上留下了多處傷疤。後來他被發現於一所國小附近，由一位老師救起並照顧，在收容所生活了一年半後，終於被送養。
I first saw Hades online, and after a few months of communication and a couple of visits, I decided to bring him home.
On October 1st, I was finally able to adopt him. The first few days were a bit rough as he adjusted to his new environment.
我第一次是在網路上看到 Hades，經過幾個月的聯繫和幾次探訪後，我決定把他帶回家。
10 月 1 日那天，我終於成功領養了他。剛開始的幾天有點辛苦，因為他還在適應新的環境。
A couple of days later, I brought Hades for his first-ever professional shower, and seeing him interact peacefully with other dogs for the first time made me really happy.
Slowly, I started to see a smile on his face.
幾天後，我帶 Hades 去洗了他人生中第一次的專業澡。看到他第一次能和平地和其他狗狗相處，讓我感到非常開心。慢慢地，我開始看到他臉上出現了笑容。
Hades is a sweet and intelligent dog, and I’m sure you’ll be seeing him quite often in the future.

黑帝斯是一隻非常溫柔又聰明的狗，未來你們一定會常常看到他。

In shelters, black dogs are often the last to be chosen. Because of their dark appearance, they’re frequently labeled as “fierce” or “unapproachable.” But they’re no different from any other stray — just as intelligent, gentle, and deserving of love. 🖤
This time, I’ve partnered with the Help Save A Pet Fund Taiwan to support their Charity Calendar, which features 12 black dogs and their heartfelt stories — hoping to help more people see their beauty and charm.
